Over the past 3 years; We have been carrying out an assessment on alarm systems behaviour. We have found that the majority of call outs are due to a fault which occurs when the main back up battery fails. (this means that if the area has a power cut, the un-serviced alarm systems will activate the bell box sounder, and the serviced alarm system will stay silent).

If your alarm system activates at 3am and your neighbour gets out of bed to check your property, only to find this was a false alarm, the next time it goes off and is in fact a break-in the neighbour will think it's just another false alarm and it would more than likely be ignored. "obviously, not good". The main reason for some customers not having their alarm systems serviced is down to affordability. This is where our assessments came into play, most batteries can last for up to 3 years which makes a service every twelve months unnecessary, and a waste of your money especially in these hard times.
